This piece uses silk jacquard fabric by "create ebara," a textile brand with a factory in Tango, Japan's foremost silk-weaving region. Their exceptional skill completed a luxurious fabric in which a beautiful flowing-water pattern rises from smooth silk.

Silk's delicacy made the crotch area prone to tearing, but guided by customer feedback we updated the sewing, improving durability while keeping the ease of movement and softness. The bottoms use French seams that hide the fabric edges at the crotch, with an additional line of stitching to reinforce this tear-prone area. The tops use flat-felled seams at the sides, with three lines of stitching to reinforce this high-movement area. Foo Tokyo silk pajamas are sewn so that no fabric edge ever touches your skin — smooth wherever you touch, with a fit that clings to your skin.
