Founded in 2017, Foo Tokyo has steadily expanded its presence through leading department stores and select boutiques. Its work extends beyond retail, including the creation of onboard wear for the luxury cruise train Seven Stars in Kyushu and in-flight loungewear for business jets, reflecting a wide range of collaborations and endeavors.

At Foo Tokyo, we create seasonal visual concepts much like a fashion brand.
This is because storytelling and philosophy lie at the heart of our craftsmanship.
For example, the Spring/Summer 2022 collection explored the theme “RESORT IN A DREAM,” expressing the imagery of a resort glimpsed in a dream. This season marked the debut of the popular Watercolor Silk Series and became a turning point that revealed a new facet of Foo Tokyo.
The Spring/Summer 2023 collection, themed “daydream,” captured the quiet beauty found in everyday moments—those noticed only when one pauses. Through original fabrics and silhouettes that enhance the natural form, the collection was expressed in cotton pajamas and Foo Tokyo’s first silk lingerie line.
By offering pajamas and loungewear as separates rather than fixed sets, Foo Tokyo invites customers to enjoy styling them as fashion pieces.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Foo Tokyo’s creations extend beyond pajamas and loungewear for everyday use.
In collaboration with companies that resonate with our philosophy, we also develop original products through close partnerships.
For Seven Stars in Kyushu, one of the world’s most luxurious cruise trains operated by JR Kyushu, Foo Tokyo designed exclusive blankets and onboard wear for passengers. We have also created in-flight loungewear for business jets operated by PHENIX JET of the Sojitz Group.
In addition, we continue to collaborate with a wide range of organizations whose values align with ours, tailoring each project to their unique needs.

OUR MANUFACTURING
Foo Tokyo’s signature pajamas and loungewear are garments that deeply connect with human rest and relaxation.
Because they are worn when the body and mind are at their most unguarded, we believe there is no room for compromise. Guided by a strong sense of aesthetics and philosophy, we maintain uncompromising standards in materials, production backgrounds, and details.
Fabric selection is paramount. We primarily use naturally derived fibers, choosing only the highest-grade materials among them.
Sewing is entrusted to domestic factories in Japan that uphold the country’s world-renowned craftsmanship. Even unseen details—such as ensuring seams and threads do not irritate the skin—are carefully considered.
